PARTICIPATION IN SASCE

Our school participates in Choral Music Competitions organized by the South African Schools Choral Eisteddfod (SASCE0. we take part in three categories namely, Infants (Grades R-2), Juniors (Grades 3-4) and Intermediates (Grades 5-7)

CODING AND ROBOTICS

Our school has started preparing our learners for this new subject to be added in our Curriculum called Coding and Robotics. Learners are given a chance to learn to identify needs, make a robot and be able to use technology to control the robot into addressing the identified need. We are looking forward to developing young scientists for the future.

SPORTS, ARTS AND CULTURE (INDIGENOUS GAMES)

Etokozweni Primary also takes part in different sporting activities. This include but not limited to Cricket, Rugby, Khokho, Soccer, Netball, Morabaraba, Intjuba and many more. Most of our Learners get selected for either the Circuit or the District teams. Some even go as far as representing the Province at the National level.

Ms LIZ McKINTOSH

Mama Liz as we call her, has been a shoulder to lean on since forever. She has been working with the University of Switzerland to bring Student Teachers to our school. She has assisted the school in building 2 Grade R classes, Grade R playground, reviving the School Library, building the old kitchen and now in a process to assist the school in building a bigger and better kitchen. Mama Liz, we Love you!!!

We appreciate SANCA Lowveld for reaching to our school and initiate the CADA project. This project has helped our learners to stay away from drugs and has given them skills to deal with the day-to-day challenges. we are very grateful!!!

CITY OF MBOMBELA AND MOTSEPE FOUNDATION
The City of  Mbombela together with the Motsepe Foundation visited our School to give Christmas presents to our learners. the excitement and the joy was written all over the faces of the little ones.
